چکیده
The authors study the fluctuations of baryon number at finite temperature and density near QCD phase transition from quark-gluon plasma to hadronic matter. Performing calculations up tenth order, they find a non-monotonic dependence on collision energy, which can arise in non-critical crossover region diagram. results compare well with recent experimental measurements STAR collaboration.

Unifying Nucleon and Quark Dynamics at Finite Baryon Number Density
We present a model of baryonic matter which contains free constituent quarks in addition to bound constituent quarks in nucleons. In addition to the common linear σ-model we include the exchange of vector-mesons. The percentage of free quarks increases with baryon density but the nucleons resist a restoration of chiral symmetry.
متن کاملRevisiting strong coupling QCD at finite temperature and baryon density
The strong coupling limit (βgauge = 0) of lattice QCD with staggered fermions enjoys the same non-perturbative properties as continuum QCD, namely confinement and chiral symmetry breaking. In contrast to the situation at weak coupling, the sign problem which appears at finite density can be brought under control for a determination of the full (μ ,T ) phase diagram by Monte Carlo simulations. F...
متن کاملStrongly Coupled QCD at Finite Baryon Density
Finite Density QCD is affected by the well known sign problem that has prevented, in most cases, any success in simulate this theory and, until now, no solution is at sight. The only exceptions in this scenario are strong coupling simulations performed with the Monomer Dimer Polymer (MDP) algorithm [1]. This algorithm is able to provide results not affected by early onset and in partial agreeme...
متن کاملQuark Number Fluctuations in a Chiral Model at Finite Baryon Chemical Potential
We discuss the net quark and isovector fluctuations as well as off-diagonal quark flavor susceptibilities along the chiral phase transition line in the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model. The model is formulated at non-zero quark and isospin chemical potentials with non-vanishing vector couplings in the iso-scalar and iso-vector channels. We study the influence of the quark chemical potential on th...
